Singles Street is a collaborative organization committed to hosting dynamic, fresh Christian Singles’ events in the Long Island, NY City area.

Our name denotes movement and transit as our events are hosted by or scheduled at different churches and venues. Our name also suggests the path that many of us are on as Christians. Being a Christian, scripture tells us, means making a decision to walk on the narrow road.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it (Matthew 7:13,14)

Because small is the gate and narrow is the way, which leads to life and few there be that find it It is for this reason, that we feel it is especially important that Christian Singles have the opportunity to be encouraged and encourage others in this incredibly special and narrow walk.

Although our events are geared for the Christian Single, we encourage all singles to join us regardless of spiritual persuasion. So if you are simply tired of the club scene and all that goes with it and would like to meet some great new people, please join us.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
